Umair is a brilliant writer who makes numerous typos and grammatical errors in his columns almost every day. He doesn't proofread or hire a competent proofreader.

He gets paid to write for Medium but his editors don't hold him accountable for proofreading and correcting his work.

Worse, he really doesn't care. His ideas are all that matter to him and if the mistakes bother you, well, you can always stop reading. His grammatical errors drive me crazy. I stopped following him for a while because of them.

My guess is he was trying to write "Those of us who have?" or "Those of us now have?". Neither of which make any sense. Or maybe "How many of us have?"

Umair's brain works at a much faster speed than many of the rest of us, but that is no excuse for sloppy writing.

His constant errors to me are signs of either a huge Trumpian ego that won't allow him to admit he makes mistakes or just really bad time management where he doesn't leave himself enough time to proofread.

Glad to know I'm not the only one confused and bothered, but I'll guarantee you Umair doesn't read these comments and nothing will change.
