So you do not agree with Umair?

You believe the Democrats are courageous and are doing all they can to fight just as hard and dirty as the Republicans, but you buy that argument that there is really nothing more they can do because the just don’t have the votes in the Senate?

You believe that the Democrats have articulated well what they have to offer and they deserve our votes simply because the alternative is much worse?

And even though they are doing nothing, we all should send in our donations to buy more TV ads that will not change one GOP vote?

I have been voting as a liberal for 50 years. I have seen some progress but not nearly enough.

Statistics show that Congress does not vote for what their constituents want, they vote for what the Big Corporations and rich donors want.

It has been this way since I marched in the streets against the war in Vietnam, which or Democratic President LBJ prosecuted as badly as Putin is prosecuting the invasion of Ukraine.

How many times will you keep asking the same girl out after she’s made it abundantly clear she isn’t interested in dating you ever?

BTW the true Silent Majority are the people who just don’t care and don’t vote. The GOP is a minority inside another minority (voters who show up).

I don’t care about upvotes on Medium, if the Democrats want my vote they need to demonstrate it through their actions. So far, I have seen nothing in terms of concrete action. Just a lot of woe is me and excuses.
