Over 370,009 Jews did leave. It cost them every penny they had. But they knew it was not going to get better from the day Hitler made Jews wear Stars of David on their clothes.

It was not long before the Jews lost their German citizenship and the all important passport that allowed them entry to safe haven countries.

Most of those who stayed, by choice or necessity, ended up in concentration camps and gas chambers. Mostly Polish Jews.
