I don't doubt for a moment that the situation Umair has described matches our present reality and our future.

So what do you suggest the west do? The American political system is totally corrupt from both sides. The people are uneducated and ill-informed.

Nuclear war is out of the question, it is mutually assured destruction. Whatever we do to Russia, they will do to us. We turn off the lights in Moscow, the next day New York City is in the dark.

That is only the beginning. My 401(k), my life savings, is simply an entry in some database. What happens when Putin turns out the lights on Wall Street and the market must close. Not for a day or two, but for weeks or months?

Why if Putin decides to sabotage the world wide Air Traffic Control System, and planes full of passengers and freight start dropping out of the sky?

What if Putin sprays defoliant on our farms and crops, so food is scarce?

While Trump was a useful idiot, Putin is a complete psychopath. If he cannot control the world, he'll destroy it so no one else can control it either.

I see people's savings wiped out. I see 1929 all over again, with people jumping out of buildings the way they did on 9/11. Death will be preferable to living like a slave in Putin's world.

Didn't we already live through this once during WWII and the rise of Hitler? There were 22 documented assassination attempts against Hitler. None succeeded. We had to literally destroy Europe to save it. But in America, we were never bombed or attacked. We won't be so lucky this time around.

So, Umair, what do we do??
