I disagree to a point.

Tell a woman you want to date that you just want to be friends and she will believe you. And once a guy is Friend Zoned he generally stays there. So don’t lie about how you feel hoping having proximity to her will “win her over”.

Guys should make friends with women with whom he does not want to have sex.

That does not mean he doesn’t find her attractive and would willingly have sex with her given the opportunity.

It only means that going down that romantic path isn’t practical from what you both know about one another, Age differences, different life stages, desires surrounding having children, time constraints, goals, religious or political differences, etc.
