Hoping that Americans will suddenly realize they are getting played by both parties is an exercise in futility.

Either split America up into multiple countries, letting the Red states have their government and the blue states theirs. There is no possible compromise.

I believe over a few decades the Red states will be a failed country, a corrupt, polluted wasteland full of ignorant, anti-education gun nuts and evangelicals where there are no abortions and no gay people or people of color.

Free the Blue states to model their society on the Democratic Socialism of Europe.

Failing that, the next logical thing is for progressives to simply leave America and live in a better environment. I became an ex-pat in early 2018, and have no desire or intention to ever live in the United States again.

Most jobs in the very near future can be done from anywhere there is an Internet connection. The lockdown is proof that office buildings and downtown areas in big cities can be deserted, but things are still getting done.

Isn’t it interesting that the establishment has been blasting Bernie Sanders claiming we could not afford single payer national healthcare, but after COVID-19 the government suddenly has TRILLIONS to spend to save the economy from a 1929 style depression.

America is a failed state and I hate to be so pessimistic, but Biden is corrupt but just in different ways than Trump.

I was going to choose Biden as a key word but that key word doesn’t have even 1,000 uses. Bernie has 11,500 mentions.
